Si hay alguien que mantiene su regularidad desde que comenzó el 2018, ese es Juan Fernando Quintero. El hombre que llegó a River en enero se fue ganando un lugar en el primer equipo, y no hizo más que demostrar sus notables cualidades. Sin dudar, José Pekermán lo llevó al Mundial, y hoy es la figura de su Selección Colombia, y uno de los más destacados en la competencia continental. Quien se refirió a su momento fue Rodrigo Mora, su compañero en el Millonario.
“Juan es un crack que está con mucha confianza. Lo ha demostrado con la camiseta de River en el último semestre. Ahora está haciendo un buen papel en el Mundial y el grupo le desea que le vaya muy bien”, soltó Mora en rueda de prensa.
Por otro lado, el uruguayo resaltó la mayor virtud del enganche: “Tiene una zurda que es increíble, una pegada bárbara. Cuando menos te lo esperás, te pone un pase gol”.
