Con la baja por suspensión de Leonardo Ponzio (cinco amarillas), el pibe de Caseros cuenta con todas las chances de ser el 5 ante Vélez. Si bien Almeyda cuenta con el Lobo Ledesma (titular en Santa Fe) y hasta podría cambiar el esquema para darle más marca en el medio, la idea es continuar con los tres volantes y el tridente arriba. Entonces, de no suceder nada extraño, Ciri sería el hombre para moverse delante de la línea de cuatro.
Almeyda, que alguna vez lo pidió para la Selección, confía nuevamente en una de las joyas de la casa. Cirigliano, que comió banco por sus flojos rendimientos, no quiere esperar sentado.
