Por eso, mientras el entrenador viajaba con el plantel hacia Mar del Plata para enfrentar a Racing, los dirigentes ultimaban detalles por Jonathan Fabbro. “Necesitamos darle un corte definitivo al tema Fabbro, para bien o para mal”, expresó Ramón. Y, justamente por eso, agregó: “River es una institución muy grande y tenemos exigencias muy grandes, por eso debemos tener un respaldo y ese es Jorge Valdivia”.
Al igual que cuando desembarcó en River, el riojano impuso prioridades. “Un enganche va a venir, no nos entra en la cabeza que no sea así. Necesitamos un jugador en ese puesto y como los tiempos se van acortando, necesitamos respuestas rápidas. Pero, más allá de eso, no dudo en que va a llegar alguien”, confesó.
Y, cerró: “El plantel está muy enganchado con la propuesta, todos entienden el mensaje y eso es lo importante. Tenemos jugadores para ser protagonistas siempre, como debe hacerlo River. Vamos por buen camino y esperamos seguir así”.
