“Gallardo nos pidió que juguemos con grandeza, por todos los títulos que ganó, la final en Madrid. Había que terminar honrándolo a él”, remarcó y agregó en tono de broma: “Le dije que tanto me pedía y que se iba. Hizo un gran trabajo acá, me tocó jugar contra ellos en 2014 y quitar el título. Les doy las gracias a Gallardo porque me trajo acá”.
Para cerrar, Borja ya se mostró con vistas a lo que será el 2023 en River: “Pude haber marcado mucho más. Hay que seguir trabajando, se viene la libertadores el próximo año, que quiero volver a salir goleador ahí”
