La tarde argentina y la noche qatarí del miércoles fue de muchas emociones para el mundo riverplatense. Una victoria que ayudó a la Selección Argentina no solamente a clasificar a los octavos de final tras el traspié en la primera fecha, si no que a que clasifique primera y se evite enfrentarse a la actual campeona del mundo Francia. En gran parte la victoria fue gracias a dos ex River: Enzo Fernández y Julián Álvarez.
La Araña y Encito vivieron un partido glorioso justificando el excelente presente que viven tanto en sus equipos como en la Albiceleste. Ambos fueron titulares por primera en un Mundial y pusieron su sello en el segundo gol: asistencia de Enzo Fernández para el primer gol de Julián Álvarez en una Copa del Mundo. Dos futbolistas que representaron con gratitud el Manto Sagrado y que hoy lo siguen representando en el mundo como ex River.
Luego del partido, el periodista Martin Arevalo se encontró con Oscar Ruggeri, el campeón del mundo en 1986 tanto con River como con Argentina, y la familia de la Araña y filmó un momento muy emotivo: el Cabezón le tiró flores a Julián con el hermano y sus padres presentes, que no aguantaron los elogios y se largaron a llorar. El ex defensor del Más Grande remarcó que la educación que no solamente sabe “patear la pelota” sino que la educación que tiene es “gracias a ellos” y señaló a los papás.
