Se viene una nueva fecha del fútbol argentino, esta vez la vigésima tercera ante Estudiante de La Plata mañana a partir de las 21:30 horas. Un encuentro fundamental para el Millonario no solo por lo que significa volver a ganar en su cancha después de cinco partidos, si no porque, en caso de ganar, queda muy cerca de asegurar su clasificación a la próxima Copa Libertadores 2023 porque en caso de sacar 9 puntos de 15 por disputarse, estará consiguiendo un boleto para disputar el certamen más importante del continente.
Para este partido el Más Grande contaría nuevamente con Emanuel Mammana y Nicolás De La Cruz. Por un lado el defensor, que hoy y ayer entrenó junto al plantel, sería nuevamente titular en la saga central, y el mediocampista, que entrenó diferenciado y fue dado de baja de último momento del partido en La Paternal, no tendría problemas para formar parte del 11 titular.

Ante Argentinos Juniors, Marcelo Gallardo utilizó una formación acorde a las medidas de la cancha que sorprendió a todo el Mundo River pero que le dio resultado: 5-2-3 con el ingreso de Leandro González Pirez y Héctor David Martínez y con solamente dos volantes, ninguno de creación de juego sino que de contención como lo son Bruno Zuculini y Enzo Pérez. Además, el equipo jugó con tres delanteros y un esquema táctico que le se sintió cómodo en la primera mitad y en los primeros minutos del segundo tiempo hasta el ingreso de Juan Fernando Quintero.
Por eso, en su estadio, el más grande de Argentina, y ante un equipo con otra idea de juego, el Muñeco volvería a las bases, conformaría una formación guiada por el 4-4-2 (en partido termina siendo 4-1-3-2) y haría varios cambios importantes con respecto al partido con el Bichito Colorado: Ingresaría Emanuel Mammana por Martínez, Nicolás De La Cruz por Esequiel Barco, Agustín Palavecino por Miguel Borja y Juan Fernando Quintero por Bruno Zuculini, suspendido. Además, seguiría entre los titulares González Pirez, el central que tuvo una muy buena actuación según el cuerpo técnico (quedaron muy conformes con su partido) y que le ganaría la pulseada al chileno Paulo Díaz.
