River necesitaba un arquero en este mercado de pases, y el que pidió Marcelo Gallardo llegó: Franco Armani. El argentino, ídolo en Atlético Nacional de Colombia, ya había sondeado en otros periodos de transferencias, pero no se lo había podido traer. Hoy, ya en el club, y ante el bajo nivel que demostró Germán Lux en los últimos partidos, el portero de Casilda tuvo la oportunidad de debutar en el arco más grande del mundo.
Todas eran expectativas. Desde la ida de Marcelo Barovero, ningún arquero en el último año y medio había conformado al hincha. Franco jugó su primer partido con el Millonario y mostró muy buenas cualidades, no solo con las manos, sino que también con los pies. En la victoria de hoy frente a Olimpo por 2 a 0, respondió de muy buena forma en las tres jugadas en las que tuvo que participar.
Pensando en el partido de Lanús del domingo, pareciera difícil que el ex Deportivo Merlo abandone el arco. De esa forma, Germán Lux y Enrique Bologna deberán pelear por un puesto en el banco de los suplentes.
