El defensor rescindió su contrato con el club este mediodía, luego de la práctica matutina en el Estadio Monumental. Así, se sumó a la lista de los futbolistas que ya no vestirán la camiseta millonaria.
A las salidas de Alexis Ferrero y Adalberto Román se le agregó en el día de hoy el nombre de Agustín Alayes, quien ya no será tenido en cuenta por Matías Almeyda. Luego de una reunión con la dirigencia, finalmente se dio a conocer la noticia de que el ex Newell’s y Estudiantes, entre otros, ya no será de la partida en Núñez.
Aunque el futbolista de 33 años llegó para ser líder de la defensa y contaba con el apoyo del entrenador, su flojo rendimiento en las primeras fechas lo dejaron fuera del equipo titular. Por eso, al finalizar el torneo formó parte de la lista de jugadores prescindibles.
Cabe destacar que Alayes sumó 540 minutos en el campeonato, es decir, jugó en los 6 primeros encuentros que disputó la Banda en el certamen. Su último partido fue ante Deportivo Merlo y luego fue reemplazado por Alexis Ferrero.
